Assistant Production Manager - Contract Hire Position

Job Description • Ensuring the health and safety management plan on the needs of the organization.
• Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the manufacturing facility
• Ensure work procedures and production rates are matched to the project requirements
• Measuring, monitoring and reporting of key performance metrics as required by the Reflector Plant Manager.
• Ensuring equipment is operated safely, efficiently and in accordance with the supplier’s recommendations.
• Mentor & assist other team members including training.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvement iniatives, reduced cycle times, re-work & scrap rates.
• Measure & track process variability & ensure quality is followed.
• Contribute to the development of continuous improvement strategies
 

Desired Candidate's Profile
Profile • BE- Mechanical / Production / Mechatronics.
• 5 to 7 years experience in manufacturing environment
• Strong Manufacturing experience, preferrably in a metals fabrication environment.
• Experience with high speed welding & assembly operations for large structures is a must.
• Exposure in Lean Manufacturing
• Exposure to large robotic/automated manufacturing systems.
• Proficient in the use of computers
• Experience with metal frame construction / welding / fabrication
• Advantageous to be familiar with SAP
• Strong oral and written skills in English
• Able to prioritize to best achieve team & business goals.
Experience 4 - 14 years
Education Basic - Bachelor of Technology/Engineering ( Mechanical , Production/Industrial )
Nationality Indian
Gender Male
