My client is involved in the design and build of a large water treatment plant in Qatar. They now seek an experienced western Contracts Administrator / Manager to join them in Doha, Qatar. The main duties are involved around contracts administration, drafting of letters, dealing with the contractors etc. but an understanding of claims would be useful. The ideal candidate will have a Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying and will have previous experience of around ten to fifteen years on quantity surveying and contract administration gained on large complex projects, either for the construction of water treatment plants, power stations, process plants or similar heavy civils projects. Ideally our client would prefer someone who has been trained and who has subsequently worked in Europe, South Africa, Australia or New Zealand. This role will initially be for one year but the intention is to move on to another projects once this completes. Our client will provide a salary of around 35000 QAR per month plus they will provide good accommodation, car, flights, health insurance. |
