| Job Description |
Job Purpose:
To provide quality customer support to ensure timely processing of sales orders which in turn helps expediting the export shipment. Job Holder is expected to ensure effective communication with internal and external customers to provide them with required information while capturing needed data for successfully completing a sales order. Close co-ordination with sales and warehouse is another core area of this role to ensure a seamless process flow starting with receiving the Sales Orders until the sale is closed by invoicing the customer. Handle the customer accounts of European (against sales office), Indian, Srilankan, American, Latin American & Far East Markets
Financial information:
Current size of business is AED 1,1 Billion and company has plans to widen its base through market and the customer in the territories.
Job responsibilities:
1. Prepare sales order and track shipment as per the set SOPs
2. Liaise with the Customers & sales office for order processing & ensure delivery without delay
3. Follow up IDF's / PIPs and arranging pre- inspection papers to inspection agencies upon cargo readiness (wherever applicable)
4. Coordinate for inspection appointments for export shipments
5. Constantly update customers with the shipment tracking details
6. Prepare Invoice & forward the final documents to the customers as per the agreed terms & conditions
7. Ensure payment receipt before releasing the documents (as per the payment terms)
8. To avoid fines & demurrage charges |
