Role Purpose: To raise funds and increase contributions of governmental institutions, Private Companies, individual businessmen and charity trust to Job creation activities and community initiatives by building relationships and exploring fundraising opportunities from various sources to cover BRJ’s receivables.

Impact: Nature and scope of influence a position has on its area of responsibility/ operation. Generally responsible for the following activities:
Motivating and facilitating supporters to maximize the funds they raise.
Inspiring new supporters to raise money, while maintaining and developing
relationships with existing supporters
Developing new and imaginative fundraising activities
Raising awareness of the Job Creation and its work, at both the local and national level -
this may involve giving talks to groups or dealing with the media;
Increasing funds by researching and targeting charitable trusts, private companies,
governmental institutions and businessmen.
Developing and implementing successful strategies for fund raising
Managing and updating databases to record donor contact and preference information
Preparing printed material for BRJ products and fundraising programs.
Making risk analyses and balancing time-cost ratios to focus effort upon the most
appropriate fundraising activities with the highest chance of success.
Communication:
Position’s responsibility for communications both within and outside the organization.
Receives work instructions from the Director of ALJCI and report progress of the fundraising activities based on the agreed target.
Innovation: Identify, develop and make ideas, techniques, procedures, services, or products.
Maintain good relation with donors, design activities and material that lead to a new donors, design events that leads to fundraising. |
