| Job Description |
In this position you will manage day to day operations of a continuous process insulation and fabrication manufacturing unit. The position requires a strong manufacturing background as well as a strong technical background. Detailed knowledge of processing equipment, materials, set up, maintenance, pre start checks, processing parameters and troubleshooting methods will be required of the successful candidate. As GM � Manufacturing, you will be responsible for all manufacturing operations including production, maintenance, production planning, stores and logistics. To succeed in this position you will be expected to recruit, develop and lead a multinational management team and workforce.
Ideal candidate should have the following experience:
� Factory management experience in a multinational environment.
� Extensive hands-on ERP experience.
� Experience with project based manufacturing for the construction industry and/or the oil & gas industry.
� Management and maintenance of the facility and processing equipment.
� Ensuring safety and managing production output, quality and cost to meet schedule requirements.
� Actively managing production processes by measurement, observation and adjustment of process control parameters.
� Observe discrete process and machine functions to ensure that process operation and quality attributes are maintained during production.
� Supply chain management including inventory management, material handling, storage and shipping
� Production planning and scheduling.
� Plastics and Polyurethane insulation materials and processing.
� ASME B31 piping codes, piping and piping systems.
� Steel pipe welding and fabrication processes.
� Quality assurance / Quality control.
� Operating in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 / ISO 14001:2004 & OHSAS 18001:2007.
