A leading bank in the region is looking to appoint a Head of Corporate Affairs to lead the development and delivery of global communications and marketing strategy. bull Creation and implementation of a global integrated communications program bull Develop and manage internal processes to ensure timely response to issues/opportunities bull Provide regular and ongoing counsel to senior management throughout the organization on internal and external communications strategies and issues bull Develop strategic marketing programs to grow the business lines and enhance market share bull Implement all marketing, financial communication and advertising strategies, meetings and events from concept to delivery bull Develop the bankrsquos CSR and Community Engagement strategy and endure there is no misalignment between business and social responsibility, strategies and functions bull Pro-actively manage public relations and media outreach to increase the al khaliji brand. Ensure positive market commentary and proven increase in perceived brand equity across all relevant media channels bull Plan quantitative and qualitative market research to develop and support the business strategy, identify new services, target markets and sub-segments. Use findings to mitigate risks associated with new product development and high profile marketing and communications campaigns bull Advance all relevant forms of internal and external digital communications bull Manage all internal and external resources (staff, vendors and suppliers), spend and related budgets in support of production and execution of all aspects of the remit Education: bull Graduate, Masters preferred Experience bull Minimum 10 years banking industry experience with at least 5 years at senior management marketing level bull GCC experience is a pre-requisite bull Extensive experience in the different communication and marketing disciplines bull Demonstrated ability to interact with multiple stakeholder groups and across various customs and cultures bull Robust product knowledge across Wholesale, Business and Consumer segments Skills bull Superior communication, leadership, organizational, interpersonal, written, verbal and analytical skills, and be able to respond well under pressure. bull Strategic mindset, result and action driven. Demonstrated attention to detail and deadlines and proven tactical/implementation expertise. bull Must be creative, persuasive, diplomatic and culturally sensitive in presenting ideas and managing their implementation. bull Fully proficient in English and Arabic |
