Job Description Our client, an Upstream Oil & Gas company is in search of candidates to fill up their below given position.

Job Title: Hr Generalist
Location: Sharjah
Job Status: Permanent
Office Timings: 8am - 4pm (Sunday - Thursday)

Principal Responsibilities:

• Update and maintain performance evaluation systems and CABS
• Update and maintain job descriptions, job evaluation systems, and salary structure
• Ensure that compensation and benefits issues, as well as job and grading evaluations are effectively monitored and managed
• Provide support in the payroll processing to ensure accuracy
• Review and analyze various records pertaining to employees, i.e. to loans, prepaid salaries, final settlements, etc
• Act as a focal point between management and employee
• Maintain knowledge of compensation issues, trends and laws related to employee benefits
• Assist with developing, maintaining and updating HR policies and procedures. Monitor adherence to approved policies
• Ensure compliance with the Labour Law regarding Human Resources issues
• Administer all aspects of personnel insurances, review insurance reports and ensure enrollment of personnel under all personnel insurances.
• Review all employee related information in HRMS to ensure accuracy
• Develop and maintain HR databases. Prepare and review reports
• Provide information on HR related issues as required and collate and produce HR related information e.g. absence, turnover etc.
• Conduct training needs analysis and prepare training and development policies and procedures.
• Assist with the development and implementation of employee training programs
• Develop new employee orientation scheme.
• Provide recruitment support and monitor related processes.

Experience, Skills and Knowledge:

• An HR Generalist with a degree or professional certification in Human Resources, Management and/or Administration or equivalent
• 5-10 yrs. experience in HR Generalist role
• Familiar with Oil & Gas/industrial, manufacturing/ process type industries and working environment
• Ability to deal with individuals from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds
Commercial orientation; listening skills.
• Behavioral Competencies: Internal Customer Service orientation; Employee development; Employee care ; Co-ordination skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills
