- Marine Repairs ( Topaz Marine Repair BU) - Undertakes all repair activities for small and large vessels in structural, mechanical, electrical etc on emergency basis or scheduled repairs, and dry dockings. Operates out of facilities in Abu Dhabi, Fujairah, Dubai, Oman, Doha , Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.

- Fabrication and Construction for the Oil and Gas and industrial companies. ( Topaz Fabrication and Construction BU ) - The unit builds and undertakes EPC jobs for Onshore and Offshore projects such as MOPU ( mobile offshore production units), Jackets, Topsides, Storage tanks, Terminals, Modules for FPSO�s , etc. Offshore related projects being built at Abu Dhabi and onshore related projects being handled at Fujairah.

- Maintenance Services for the Oil and Gas sector. ( Topaz Maintenance Services BU) � Undertakes Shutdown Jobs and has a Maintenance workshop for Mechanical and electrical and instrumentation related works for refinery equipments. Operates out of Abu Dhabi.

Job Description Assists and supports the manager in day to day HR Operations and implementation of employee development initiatives such as the Performance Appraisal system, Succession Planning and Career Development, Motivational Awards and staff surveys. Enables the achievement of key Human Resources Performance Indicators by providing effective and efficient HR administrative service
 

Desired Candidate's Profile
Profile Expected to facilitate and coordinate with employees, departments and staff for smooth implementation of HR operations. Required to offer solutions in consultation with the HR manager for aspects concerning policy implementation.
The role is a generalist HR officer role with responsibilities for manpower planning, mobilizations, on-boarding, performance management, personnel responsibilities and reporting.
The ideal candidate must be organized and able to take pressure of a busy operations.


Minimum Qualifications: Graduate in any discipline; MBA or Equivalent qualification in Human Resources from a reputed University

• An HR Generalist with a degree or professional certification in Human Resources, Management and/or Administration or equivalent
• 5-10 yrs. experience in HR Generalist role
• Familiar with Oil & Gas/industrial, manufacturing/ process type industries and working environment
• Ability to deal with individuals from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds
Commercial orientation; listening skills.
• Behavioral Competencies: Internal Customer Service orientation; Employee development; Employee care ; Co-ordination skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills
Experience 5 - 10 years
Education PG - MBA/PG Diploma in Business Mgmt ( HR/Industrial Relations )
