PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To support the IMS Director / Project Directors by:

- Assisting Projects / Departments to implement Environmental Management Programme
- Assisting the IMS Director to implement Sustainability Action Plan
- Develop and carry out Environmental tool box talks in different languages

KEY OBJECTIVES OF THE JOB

- Coordinate with all Project Managers to have environmental Management Programme in every project.
- Make plan and monitor the progress every month
- Attend bi-weekly site meeting for EMS discussions.
- Water and electricity reduction plans to be developed with the Sustainability Manager
- Assisting sites to dispose hazardous material
- Carrying out environmental tool box talks
- Visit sites and carryout inspection on environment related issues
- Collect waste reduction progress data and provide feedback to IMS Coordinator
- Collect water and electricity data.
- Plan and carryout environmental inspection
 

Desired Candidate's Profile

- Supports delivery of Health and Safety policy and standards
- Supervises the activities of others to meet deadlines and quality standards taking account of impact outside area of responsibility
- Focus of work on the completion of a set of related tasks for a particular section or service with the ability to accommodate new tasks

KNOWLEDGE AND APPLIED SKILLS
- Educational Qualification: BSc or equivalent in Environmental Engineering or Chemical engineering
- Experience in implementing and monitoring environmental Management Sustainability
- Experience in Environmental Auditing

Education Basic - Diploma , Bachelor of Technology/Engineering
