| Job Description |
Based in Dubai, the corporate lawyer will act as an in-house counsel to the Company and its affiliates in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar and Kuwait and will provide legal advice with respect to such companiesâ activities.
Duties
⢠Drafting and maintaining the minutes of the corporate records of the Company and the Companyâs affiliates in Dubai and more generally in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar and Kuwait; handling all corresponding formalities, administrative filings, book-keeping;
⢠Providing assistance for the drafting of organizational documents of the Company
⢠Checking compliance of contracts and activities of Company and Companyâs affiliates in the Middle East with applicable laws and regulations; making the Company aware of new legislation, regulations and case-law related to its activities
⢠Drafting and reviewing contracts with local suppliers, contractors, subcontractors;
⢠Handling the administrative implementation of contracts (including orders and invoicing, payment and recovery of taxes)
⢠Providing legal support with respect to real estate matters, permitting environmental regulations, energy supply;
⢠Handling litigation in the ordinary course of business; following procedures before local courts; handling administrative claims and disputes |
