The selected candidate shall be at least with the following skills and capabilities:
 Change Management & Continuous Improvement (Optimization)
 IP Routing: RIP, IGRP/EIGRP, OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, MPBGP. IPv4/v6, VLSM, Route Aggregation, Summarization, Filtering and Redistribution
 Networking Technologies: Ethernet, Frame Relay, PPP, ISDN, ATM, DPT/802.17 RPR, MPLS, EoMPLS, VPLS, MPLS VPN
 VPNs- the characteristics of VPN with regard to reach, security and the support of end-to-end QOS.
 QOS and operational aspects of the above two points are of particular importance.
 Excellent knowledge about the NGN components and architecture
 Excellent understanding of planning tools and how to use them
 Excellent documentations and presentation skills
 The ability to translate all the above points into fundamental plans
 Excellent understanding of IP-MPLS services and their applications
 Excellent understanding of the business/economics of implementing IP networks and their advantage over TDM networks

 Should possess an expert working knowledge of problem determination, analysis and resolution techniques.
 Ability to effectively communicate to internal clients through all available mediums (verbal, listening, writing, presenting).
 Upgrade network hardware and software components as required using the appropriate hardware and software tools.
 Troubleshooting and closing escalated trouble tickets daily.
 Open client trouble tickets and TAC Cases (I.E. Cisco or Third Party)
 Perform expert configuration & staging of Cisco Routers, Switches, Servers, Firewalls, IP Phones, & Wireless Devices.
 Possess hands on administration skills of CRS-1 and or GSR 12k routers
 Possess hands on expert administration skills of CIC, CWLMS, CTM, ISC/MDE, CNS
 Possess the ability to meet deadlines by prioritizing the work requests based on a sense of urgency.
 Coordinate system changes with appropriate teams to minimize disruption.
 Coordinate and communicate issues requiring escalation to different teams & initiate follow-up procedures pertaining to issues.
 Possess the ability to work effectively under pressure and stressful situations.
 Possess the ability to evaluate, escalate, exercise good judgment and make decisions based on limited information. Possess the ability to work as a stand alone or in a team environment.
 Eager to work pro-actively and to do what is expected at all times.
 Should be at least CCIE (W), and have excellent field, troubleshooting experience.
