LOGISTICS OFFICER

Job Description Our client, a high profile, multinational company and a world leading supplier of packaging food solutions: global leader in thermoforming machines and manufacturer of an extensive traysealers, vacuum chamber machines is urgently seeking to recruit Logistics Officer.

Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Project Management all machine deliveries from the Head Quarter Factory
- Prepare all shipping instructions for the freight forwarder(s)
- Coordinate with local freight forwarder(s) timely movement of shipments
- Dispatch and follow up on all customer related shipping documents
- Continuous update of sales team about delivery status
- Prepare all documents needed for shipments coming into the are, and shipments leaving the area, and goods redeemed from customs
- Working with the local freight forwarder(s) to clear received goods
- Handle all customs related topics with customers department
- Handle all certification and legalizations needed for customs documents
 

Desired Candidate's Profile
Profile Requirements:
- At least 4 years of experience in logistics, with good knowledge in:
• Handling international ocean, air freight, and courier shipments
• Customs procedures and documentation for GCC countries and Iran
• Certification procedures with CoC and ministries in the UAE
• Usage of local HS Codes
• LC Documents

- Good communication skills and be capable of working independently
- A valid UAE Driving License
- Speaking Arabic would be of benefit

Education Basic - Bachelor of Arts , Bachelor of Business Administration ( Management ) , Bachelor of Commerce ( Commerce ) , Bachelor of Science , PG - Master of Arts , Master of Commerce ( Commerce ) , Master of Science , Master of Technology/Engineering
