Job Title: Corrosion Coating Expert Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking a Corrosion Coating Expert Engineer with strong technical knowledge in protective coatings for concrete and metal substrates, particularly polyurea, polyurethane, epoxy, and zinc-rich systems. The candidate will be responsible for evaluating corrosion risks, selecting suitable coating systems, and overseeing application quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and identify corrosion issues in industrial assets (pipelines, tanks, structures, etc.)
• Recommend coating solutions based on substrate, environment, and client specifications.
• Supervise surface preparation and coating application, ensuring adherence to international standards (NACE, SSPC, ISO).
• Conduct failure analysis and prepare technical reports.
• Coordinate with applicators, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
• Prepare and review technical data sheets (TDS), method statements, and QA/QC procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in corrosion protection and coatings.
• Certification preferred (e.g., NACE Level 2 or 3 / ICorr).
• Familiarity with spray equipment (e.g., Graco Reactor) and inspection tools (DFT meters, adhesion testers).
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
