Roles & Responsibilities
• 3D Laser Scan Registration (Target-based & Targetless) • Point Cloud Cleaning, Optimization & Quality Control • Georeferencing of Point Clouds using Total Station / GNSS Control Points • Coordinate System Management & Alignment (Local to Project Coordinates) • Scan-to-Scan and Scan-to-Model Accuracy Verification • Deliverables Preparation: Registered Point Clouds, QA/QC Reports, Registration Logs • Collaboration with Design, BIM and Modeling Teams for Accurate Data Handover
Desired Candidate Profile
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in 3D laser scanning, registration, alignment, and georeferencing for industrial, retrofit, infrastructure, and construction projects.
Proficient in: • FARO Scene • Trimble RealWorks • Autodesk ReCap • Leica Cyclone (optional) • Total Station workflows (Leica) • Control point creation, transformation, and accuracy reporting
