Principales responsabilit s
Mission 1: Contribute to ACF technical country strategy for his/her base
Mission 2: Implement the programs in his/her programmatic area
Mission 3: In his/her programmatic area, represent ACF and liaise with local authorities, UN, NGOs, etc. at field level
Mission 4: Ensure reporting and communication
Mission 5: Participate in the security management
Mission 6: Manage the teams under his/her responsibility
Mission 7: Ensure adequate and timely interaction with technical coordination team
Correspondez-vous au profil que nous recherchons ?
You have at least 2 years experience in WASH, FSL or/and RRM in humanitarian context, preferably in complex emergencies. You have successful experiences in team management, in conducting training/coaching, you are a real team player and have good inter-personal/communication skills. You are able to work independently, under pressure and meet deadlines and are ready to work in remote management and support.
You are able to offer advanced analytical, writing and reporting work and have advanced command of Excel.
You speak and write English fluently
Previous experience with ACF is preferable
Contexte de travail:
From Aden Base, ACF currently operates programming in the sectors of WASH, Food Security & Livelihood, Nutrition & Health, Mental Health and Care Practices, as well as an emergency basis integrated Rapid Response Mechanism.
The base implements programming with funding from multiple sources. The size of the staff in Aden is currently 67 people.
The Field Manager (RRM, WASH, FSL) will have to directly line manage 3 Program Managers and overall manage 42 program staff (15 FSL + 9 RRM + 18 WASH) while working closely with a 5-person MEAL team (MEAL Manager reports to Field Coordinator).
Working conditions will be dynamic and demanding.
Expat movement to non-essential work locations is currently limited in Aden to ensure safety and security of expats; ACF Aden security plan is updated on a frequent basis to take into account expat mobility possibilities which changes depending on evolving security circumstances, Field Coordinator has to provide prior approval from security standpoint for all expat movement to / from ACF office, whether it is for personal or professional reasons.
Therefore, alternative management tools may be necessary.
Expats based in Aden can have a decent social life due to the high number of expats present in Aden from all over the world.

The Yemen mission takes place in a challenging context!
At mission level we have a team of about 300 national staffs and 25 expatriates.
We expect the candidate to be a team player, be flexible and autonomous.
To the Field Coordinator, the Field Manager is the representative of the programs implementation at Aden level.
He or she will support his / her staffs, request for support and raise concerns to Field Coordinator and relevant party at coordination and HQ in a timely fashion to ensure smooth implementation of program activities and the rights, safety and protection of both ACF staffs and beneficiaries.
