Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Navigate and operate the abra, ensuring safe and efficient transportation across waterways, while adhering to local regulations and maritime laws.
  • Conduct routine inspections of the abra, including engine checks, safety equipment, and overall vessel condition to guarantee passenger safety.
  • Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information about routes, safety procedures, and local landmarks to enhance their experience.
  • Monitor weather conditions and water currents to make informed decisions about navigation and route adjustments.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 2 years as skipper in any kind of vessel not less than 12 meter

Certifications required:

  1. STCW-2010-Vaid Basic Safety Training Certification

  2. DMCA/FTA License for upto 12 meter boat
