Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Position: AC Technician Department: Electrical & Instrumentation Key Responsibilities Install, inspect, maintain, and repair air conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilation systems. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC equipment. Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on split units, package units, ducted systems, chillers, and other cooling equipment. Check and replenish refrigerants in accordance with safety and environmental regulations. Inspect electrical components, motors, compressors, thermostats, and control systems. Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency. Maintain maintenance records and prepare service reports. Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and industry standards. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests. Coordinate with other maintenance personnel and contractors when required.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Experience ITI / Diploma in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 7-12 years of experience as an AC Technician. Good knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and electrical troubleshooting. Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals. Experience with preventive and breakdown maintenance. Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations. Skills Required HVAC troubleshooting and repair. Refrigeration system maintenance. Electrical fault diagnosis. Preventive maintenance planning. Time management and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Experience in industrial plants, manufacturing facilities, or large commercial buildings.
