Opportunity available for an Academic Advisor to join our team in our mission to change the way students learn outside the classroom and unleash human potential in the MENA region.
We are looking for a candidate with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work with a diverse and strong group of people on our team.
We provide educational services for school students that help them manage their time and hold them accountable for their educational progress. We empower our students with good study habits and effective tools to help them become responsible, independent, and creative learners, thus supporting parents in their lives.
The position is available for Saudis residing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with the possibility of working from home.
Tasks and responsibilities
Providing academic follow-up within a scheduled plan in direct weekly sessions.
Follow up on the student's academic progress on the Abwab platform.
Providing individual guidance and follow-ups to all students on a weekly basis.
Ensure that all students complete their academic assignments on a daily basis.
Providing recommendations to parents and communicating with them periodically to inform them of their children's academic progress.
Discovering different student personalities, and supporting them in facing learning, time management, or other challenges
Communicate with the student and parents at the beginning of the service to introduce the service.
Preparing a report on the tasks completed daily
Qualifications and experience
Hold a bachelor’s degree (or be in the final year of university) in one of the fields of educational sciences such as: counseling and mental health, educational technology, psychology, sociology, or any related major
We also welcome applications from other academic majors such as biology, mathematics, and languages.
Previous work/training experience is a big plus.
Good knowledge in Excel
Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is a plus.
A deep understanding of the Saudi student environment and their needs
Have a background in elementary, middle and high school curricula.
