Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for Central Asia accounts (Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan) while being based in the L3Harris regional office in Abu Dhabi. The individual will be responsible for selling tactical communication products, systems and/or services and managing opportunities in all stages of the sales pipeline. They must effectively prospect, qualify, propose, capture, negotiate and close sales with customers. They would be responsible for providing marketing intelligence and developing sales plans, business plans, and product development plans; communicating and executing winning market plans and capture strategies. A large portion of the role will involve working with the US Embassy staff to secure Foreign Military Sales (FMS) orders in these former Soviet Union countries. A successful candidate will need to perform competitive assessments, identify attractive solutions as well as conduct sales presentations and marketing activities including participation in tradeshows, conferences and product demonstrations.
The individual will need a strong technical background and should have a solid understanding of military radio technologies. The individual should be able to assess the application of company products to meet customer needs.
The individual should have solid communication and organizational skills and work well both in a team and individual setting. The role will require significant travel to the region.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor s degree and minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience
• Willing to travel to countries in Central Asia and Middle East; travel will be 50-75% of this role
• U.S., UK, European/NATO, or Australian citizenship is required
• Able to conduct product demonstrations to customers
