Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to fill the position of Account Manager.
-A professional with experience in promoting IT services/solutions.
-The successful candidate will be managing accounts and generating new sales opportunities for IT Solutions and Services.
-The successful candidate should also have good grasp of technologies, and excellent client management as well as partner/vendor management skills.
-Key responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with the key accounts and exploring new opportunities.
This is a highly networked role that requires an ability to work under pressure and challenging deadlines.
-The role will require strong people and relationship-building skills, in addition to good solutions know-how in a dynamic sales environment.
-The candidate must have proven capability in winning large size IT services deals.
-Ideally the individual has a background in solutions & IT services as well as experience in Account Management, and is comfortable working with C-levels personnel and excellent presentation skill.
Report to: Head of Business Unit
-In charge of Accounts; maintaining customer relationships and generating new sales opportunities
-Responsible for all client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables and revenue.
-Owns the contract and contract renewals for new work for an existing client.
-Pursues opportunities for account growth and new business.
-Works closely with the project team in order to ensure a continuous knowledge of project status in order to identify potential issues and/or opportunities within or related to the project.
-Ensures that client issues are dealt with in an efficient manner.
-Raises and follows up on Change Request Orders and invoices, and is responsible for payment collections.
-Ensures that all processes and procedures are completed, quality standards are met, and that projects are profitable.
-Provides regular two-way communication between the client and team, to ensure strong team representation and to set proper client expectations.
-Understands company capabilities and service, and effectively communicates all offerings to the client.
-Provides input on all account activity, including status and call reports on a weekly basis.
Job Requirements
-Proven Account Management/Sales skills required in order to create, maintain and enhance customer relationships.
-Minimum 2-3 years in managing key accounts/Sales in IT Solutions and Services.
-Technical competence will be an added advantage (understanding of software, hardware, networks, etc)
-Motivated, goal oriented, persistent and a skilled negotiator
-Excellent written and oral communication skills (English and French)
-Ability to handle stressful situations and deadline pressures well
-Willingness to travel and work with a global team of professionals
-Ability to plan and carry out responsibilities with minimal direction
-Proven track records in meeting sales targets
