Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and contractual terms.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports.
  • Follow up on outstanding invoices and ensure timely collections.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of customer payments and communications.
  • Generate regular AR reports for management review.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
  • Maintain proper documentation for audits and financial reviews.
  • Coordinate with sales, customer service, and finance teams to resolve billing issues.
  • Support external auditors with required documentation.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and the full quote-to-cash cycle.
  • Strong proficiency in ERP software (SAP experience is a significant advantage).
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis functions).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Accounting software such as SAP, QuickBooks, Sage, Zoho and Odoo.
  • Analytical Mindset: Excellent problem-solving skills with a proven ability to investigate and resolve complex discrepancies.
  • Exceptional Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to be both assertive and professional.
  • Negotiation Skills: Confident in discussing financial matters and negotiating payment terms with clients.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous and thorough in all aspects of work, especially in account reconciliation.
  • Proactive & Self-Motivated: A high degree of initiative and the ability to work independently to achieve goals.
  • 3 - 5 years of total experience
  • 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in AR/GL.
  • Accounting & Finance Graduate.
  • CA/CPA
