Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports specific to the interior fanout and Construction projects.
  • Manage and oversee all accounting functions related to construction projects, including job costing, revenue recognition, and cost control to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation of invoices and payments.
  • Coordinate budgeting and forecasting activities in collaboration with project managers and senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and company policies.
  • Monitor project costs and track variances to support profitability analysis.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and other financial institutions as required.
  • Maintain general ledger, perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Implement and improve financial controls and procedures suited to the interior fit out industry

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the Construction or fit out sectors.
  • Strong understanding of UAE VAT and local financial regulations.
  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
