Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily financial transactions within retail locations, including cash handling, sales reconciliation, and bank deposits, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Analyze sales data and inventory reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost optimization within retail operations.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements specific to retail outlets, providing insights to management.
- Manage the retail operations budget, tracking expenses, and identifying variances, proactively suggesting corrective actions.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, providing a solid foundation in accounting principles.
- Holds a CPA or similar professional certification (e.g., CMA), demonstrating a commitment to professional excellence.
- Has a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with specific experience in retail operations.
- Demonstrates a deep understanding of retail industry accounting practices, including inventory management and sales reconciliation.
