Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Accountant with ACCA, CPA, or CA credentials to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of financial principles and accounting procedures. This individual will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial information, ensuring compliance with all accounting regulations and standards. In addition to technical expertise, the successful applicant will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate financial concepts effectively to non-financial stakeholders. Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS or GAAP.
  • Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and taxation compliance.
  • Develop and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure audit compliance.
  • Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support business decision-making processes.
  • Manage budgeting processes, including budget preparation and variance analysis.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during audits and implement audit recommendations.
  • Perform regular account reconciliations to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of regulatory changes in financial reporting and taxation.
  • Assist in developing financial policies and procedures that improve overall efficiency.
  • Train and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and performance feedback.
  • Support the finance department in special projects and strategic initiatives as required.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required.
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or CA is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a similar accounting role.
  • Strong proficiency with accounting software and financial analysis tools.
  • Excellent understanding of IFRS and/or GAAP reporting standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workflows.
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills with acute attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying complex financial concepts clearly.
  • Experience liaising with auditors and managing audit processes effectively.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive financial information.
