Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and timely records of all financial transactions,
- Ledger Maintenance: Update and maintain the general ledger, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes. Ensure timely processing of invoices and payments. Reconcile accounts and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Payroll Assistance: Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries.
- Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses as required.
- Tax Compliance: Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns and other regulatory requirements.
- Audit Support: Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to audit inquiries.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative duties as needed to support the finance department.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Education: masters degree in commerce.
- Experience: 1 -2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software (ERP)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
