Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including daily bookkeeping entries. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with accounting standards. Handle VAT filing and tax reporting in compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority regulations. Perform bank reconciliations and monitor company cash flow. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections. Assist in budget preparation and expense monitoring. Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and records. Ensure compliance with UAE accounting laws and international financial reporting standards (IFRS). Liaise with external stakeholders such as auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions. Use accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems) for financial management tasks.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of accounting experience in the UAE preferred. Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and tax filing procedures. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Good understanding of IFRS and financial compliance practices. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
