Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Develop and maintain internal control policies to safeguard company assets.
• Manage the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts and report variances.
• Ensure the timely completion and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports.
• Liaise with auditors during the audit process to provide the necessary resources and documentation.
• Provide strategic and operational financial advice to senior management and stakeholders.
• Oversee general ledger maintenance and the accuracy of financial data entries.
• Conduct financial analysis to detect potential improvements and minimize financial risk.
• Apply comprehensive knowledge of tax compliance and manage tax filing activities.
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts.
• Stay updated with the latest financial regulations and legislative changes impacting finance.
• Train and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering an environment of growth and learning.

Requirements

• Possess a professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or CA.
• Minimum of three years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
• Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial data.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
