The primary functions of an accountant revolve around ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and providing strategic financial advice.

Bookkeeping: Managing and recording all day-to-day financial transactions, including invoices, bills, receipts, and payments.

General Ledger Maintenance: Maintaining accurate general ledgers, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.

Financial Statement Preparation: Preparing and publishing periodic financial statements (Balance Sheets, Income Statements, Cash Flow Statements) for management, stakeholders, or regulatory bodies.

Reconciliations: Reconciling bank statements and various accounts (like accounts payable and receivable) to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-5 years of proven experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in ERP accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
