Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with established schedules.
• Analyze financial discrepancies and recommend effective solutions for resolution.
• Ensure all financial transactions are recorded and documented appropriately.
• Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting activities for the organization.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits.
• Coordinate and complete annual audits for both internal and external financial assessments.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain internal controls.
• Communicate financial insights and findings to management and stakeholders effectively.
• Monitor and review accounting processes to identify opportunities for improvements.
• Manage account reconciliations, monthly closings, and report final outputs accurately.
• Provide technical support and advice on financial and accounting issues to the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• Proven experience as an accountant or related role in finance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and compliance standards required.
• Proficiency in accounting software, particularly with QuickBooks or SAP preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail essential for accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills necessary for effective financial management.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial colleagues.
