Accountant Galaxy Sky Travel and Tourism

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the financial operations of our travel agency, including ticketing accounts, supplier payments, receivables, reconciliations, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate must understand travel industry accounting, high-volume transactions, and supplier-based operations.

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

• Conduct detailed account reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective measures to maintain data integrity.

• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings, providing actionable insights to management.

• Manage payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement of salaries and compliance with tax regulations.

• Maintain daily accounts, ledgers, and financial records

• Handle ticketing accounts, reconciliations, refunds, and commissions

• Manage accounts payable & receivable (airlines, hotels, suppliers, agents)

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

• Monitor cash flow, expenses, and budgets Handle VAT filing, compliance, and documentation as per UAE regulations

• Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and payment gateways Coordinate with auditors, banks, and government authorities when required

• Support management with financial analysis and cost control
