Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Accountant will support the financial operations of InvestMenter Corporate Services Provider LLC. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, timely processing of transactions, compliance with UAE regulations, and delivery of financial support services required by management operations, property management activities, and investment-related functions.
The Accountant will work closely with the other departments to maintain accurate accounts, support investor reporting cycles, assist with supplier and service-provider coordination, and ensure smooth day-to-day financial operations across the Corporate Services unit.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Maintain up-to-date books of accounts for InvestMenter Corporate Services Provider LLC.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and management reports aligned with InvestMenter s reporting calendar.
- Maintain general ledgers, ensure accuracy of entries, and perform monthly reconciliations.
- Support preparation of financial information for investor updates, board reports, and operational performance summaries.
2. Accounts Payable (AP)
- Process supplier invoices for all InvestMenter Corporate Services activities, including office lease, utilities, subscription services, consultants, admin expenses, and operational suppliers.
- Verify supporting documents and ensure compliance with company approval workflows.
- Coordinate with vendors, property administrators, and external service providers for billing and payment clarifications.
- Maintain updated vendor records and ensure timely settlement of dues.
3. Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Prepare intercompany invoices for shared services, administrative support, and other chargeable items.
- Monitor receivables and follow up to ensure timely collection.
- Reconcile intercompany accounts and resolve discrepancies directly with relevant departments or subsidiaries.
4. Treasury, Payments & Banking
- Prepare bank transfers, reimbursements, and supplier payments.
- Reconcile bank statements monthly and ensure all bank activities are accurately posted.
- Assist the Finance team in monitoring cash flow requirements and forecasting operational liquidity.
5. Compliance UAE VAT, Corporate Tax & Regulatory
- Prepare VAT computations, returns, and ensure proper documentation of input/output VAT for all transactions.
- Assist with UAE Corporate Tax documentation, filing requirements, and record maintenance.
- Maintain compliance with financial controls, internal policies, and statutory requirements.
6. Budgeting, Cost Tracking & Operational Support
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts for Corporate Services.
- Track actual expenses vs. budget and highlight variances to management.
- Support operational reporting, cost allocation, and financial analysis required by management.
7. Audit Support & Financial Governance
- Assist auditors by preparing financial schedules, documentation, and reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records for audit readiness.
8. Cross-Department Support
- Work closely with Sales Support, Finance, Fulfillment, and HR teams to support financial needs and documentation.
- Provide financial data for contracts, events, renewals, procurement, and other corporate transactions.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA) is an advantage.
Experience:
- 3 5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the UAE.
- Experience in corporate services, real estate, property management, consulting, or investment companies is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated knowledge of UAE VAT and basic Corporate Tax processes.
- Experience using accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Xero, or similar.
Skills & Competencies
- Solid knowledge of accounting standards and general ledger functions.
- Strong analytical abilities and financial accuracy.
- High proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
