Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
An Accountant is responsible for managing, analyzing, and reporting an organization’s financial information. They ensure accuracy in financial records, support audits, reconcile accounts, and help leadership make informed financial decisions. They also maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, examine, and maintain accurate financial records and statements Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts Conduct regular financial audits and ensure compliance with internal controls Manage accounts payable and receivable Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning Ensure timely tax filings and support external auditors Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities Support management with financial insights for decision making Maintain confidentiality and safeguard financial information
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, CMA) preferred Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) Excellent analytical and numerical skills High attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
