Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records and manage the general ledger, fixed assets, and journal entries.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings and prepare key financial statements and reports.
  • Process vendor invoices, manage accounts receivable, and ensure timely reconciliations and payments.
  • Monitor bank transactions, perform reconciliations, and assist in preparing cash flow forecasts.
  • Ensure tax compliance through proper record-keeping and timely submission of tax filings.
  • Coordinate with auditors, provide required documentation, and address audit findings.
  • Support procurement activities, including vendor management, issuing LPOs, and evaluating quotations.
  • Assist in budgeting and financial planning, track expenses, and recommend cost-saving measures.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • Minimum of 3 years UAE experience in accounting, financial reporting, or a related role.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Sage) is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities with high attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a team-oriented approach.
