We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. This role is crucial for supporting financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and IPO preparation within a fast-growing e-cigarette and Packaging company. Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is essential for effective communication with stakeholders and partners.

Requirements:

1. Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) and English

2. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
3. Minimum 5 years of accounting experience (audit background preferred)
4. Experience with IPO, capital markets, or financial disclosures
Strong skills in Excel, ERP, and SAP
5. Must be based in UAE
6. Strong attention to detail, self-motivated, and eager to learn
Industry experience in FMCG, trading, or regulated products is a plus

Job Descriptions:

1. Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with IFRS and UAE regulations
2. Support IPO readiness, financial disclosures, and coordinate with regulatory bodies and advisors
3. Lead external audit coordination and support internal audit processes
4. Translate and draft financial reports and investor materials in both English and Chinese
5. Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, financial, and ESMA regulations
6. Identify and implement process improvements to optimize reporting workflows
7. Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, operations, and investor relations teams
8. Show adaptability and a willingness to work extra hours when needed
