Roles & Responsibilities
Accounting & Taxation Manage daily accounting activities, including general ledger, AP/AR, invoices, and petty cash. Prepare monthly closing, financial statements, P&L reports, and cash flow summaries. Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax laws, including filing returns, maintaining records, and preparing tax reports. Oversee bank reconciliations, payments, and vendor accounts. Support budgeting, cost tracking, and financial planning. Coordinate with external auditors, banks, suppliers, and RAKEZ finance departments. Maintain accurate documentation for purchases, expenses, and internal controls.
Human Resources Maintain employee files, attendance, leave records, and prepare payroll. Handle RAKEZ/immigration documentation for visas, renewals, medicals, and onboarding. Issue HR letters such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary certificates, and notices. Assist in recruitment, CV screening, interview scheduling, and employee onboarding. Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law and company HR policies. Support administrative tasks and act as a point of contact for staff matters.
Desired Candidate Profile
We are looking for an experienced Accountant cum HR to manage financial operations and HR functions at our industrial facility in Al Ghail, RAKEZ. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in UAE taxation, including VAT and Corporate Tax compliance, along with more than 5 years of accounting experience in the UAE. This role requires someone who can independently manage accounts, HR documentation, payroll, and administrative tasks in a growing industrial organization.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience in the UAE (industrial/manufacturing experience preferred). Strong understanding of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and tax compliance procedures. Experience with accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, ERP). Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel. Excellent communication skills and ability to manage tasks independently. Knowledge of HR processes, payroll, and UAE labour requirements. Ability to work in a fast-moving industrial environment.
Work Hours Full-time, standard UAE business hours.
