Accountant – Logistics / Supply Chain

We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Accountant to manage overseas shipment finalisation, landed cost computation, reconciliations, and cost analysis across the supply chain. The role requires strong coordination with procurement, operations, and warehouse teams to ensure accurate costing, compliance, and financial control.

• Overseas Shipment Finalisation - Allocate all shipment-related costs (freight, duty, clearance, transport, handling, etc.) to calculate accurate landed cost at SKU/product level.
• Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Process - Handle end-to-end P2P accounting including invoice booking, GRN matching, approvals, and payments.
• Reconciliations - Perform regular vendor, freight forwarder, clearing agent, and ledger reconciliations.
  Ensure zero discrepancies and timely closure of open balances.
• Cost Analysis & Reporting - Prepare cost analysis reports and highlight sudden cost increases, abnormal charges, or supply chain inefficiencies.
  Proactively flag deviations to management with clear explanations.
• VAT Compliance - Ensure correct UAE VAT treatment on logistics, imports, and related expenses.
  Support VAT filings and audits as required.
• ERP & Systems - Work on ERP systems for shipment costing, expense booking, and reporting.
  Ensure data accuracy and timely updates in the system.
• Cross-Functional Coordination - Work closely with procurement, operations, warehouse, and logistics teams to support end-to-end supply chain accounting.
