Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Record and verify daily sales, expenses, and inventory movements for all F&B outlets.
- Reconcile cash, credit card, and bank transactions in line with UAE accounting practices.
- Monitor food and beverage costs, COGS, wastage, and variances; prepare daily/weekly cost reports.
- Review supplier invoices, LPOs, and delivery notes to ensure accuracy before processing payments.
- Coordinate with suppliers for statements, payments, and credit notes, ensuring compliance with UAE VAT regulations.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including P&L reports specific to F&B operations.
- Conduct routine inventory checks and support month-end and year-end stock counts.
- Maintain accurate records for pricing, menu costing, and cost control templates.
- Liaise with operations, purchasing, and warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies and enhance cost efficiency.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for multiple outlets or concepts.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and UAE financial compliance standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably within the food & beverage or hospitality sector in the UAE.
- Strong understanding of UAE VAT regulations and compliance requirements.
- Hands-on experience with POS systems, inventory management software, and accounting platforms (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle).
- Solid knowledge of cost control, menu costing, and COGS analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work closely with operations, purchasing, and warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple outlets and work under tight deadlines.
- Proactive, reliable, and capable of working both independently and within a team.
