Roles & Responsibilities
Be at the forefront of managing and maintaining the precision of our financial records as our Accounting Data Entry Specialist!
In this role, you'll handle essential tasks such as entering financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing reports to ensure our financial data is accurate and up-to-date
As the backbone of our accounting operations, you'll expertly manage data entry processes, resolve discrepancies, and contribute to strategic financial planning by providing reliable data and insights.
Working closely with the finance team, you'll streamline financial workflows, uphold data integrity, and support our financial health with your attention to detail and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform data entry tasks related to financial transactions into accounting software.
Check data for accuracy and reconcile any discrepancies.
Maintain and update financial records and databases
Generate financial reports and summaries as required.
Assist with audit preparations and provide necessary data.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with the finance team to ensure smooth operations
Uphold confidentiality and data security practices
Monitor and manage data entry timelines and deadlines
Follow company policies and accounting regulations
Coordinate with other departments for data requirements.
Manage and organize financial documents and records.
Stay updated on accounting principles and software tools
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Proven experience as an Accounting Data Entry Specialist or similar role.
Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume data entry environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
