Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description:
As an Accounts Assistant, you will support the accounting team with various tasks, including handling accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial documents, and assisting with day-to-day accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Record and update financial transactions.
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports and statements.
  • Assist in bank reconciliations.
  • Support the team with data entry and filing of financial documents.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping of transactions.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Sri Lankan Female Candidate Preferd
