Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify financial figures, postings, and documents to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Maintain organized and secure financial records, files, cash, and cash equivalents
  • Record, store, and analyze financial data using accounting systems and spreadsheets
  • Classify, code, and summarize financial transactions in journals and ledgers
  • Prepare and distribute accounting, financial, payroll, and audit-related reports
  • Support period-end closing activities and required financial reconciliations
  • Prepare, review, and issue invoices, bills, and account statements as per procedures
  • Follow up on outstanding receivables and vendor invoices until resolution
  • Coordinate accounting tasks with other hotel departments to meet deadlines
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, confidentiality standards, and internal controls
  • Communicate clearly with colleagues and stakeholders using professional language
  • Support team objectives and maintain positive working relationships

Ideal Profile

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum one year of experience in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in computerized accounting systems and office software
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
