Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Maintain and update financial records, invoices, and ledgers.
- Prepare and process payment vouchers, receipts, and journal entries.
- Coordinate with internal departments and vendors regarding billing, payments, and account clarifications.
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure timely utility, vendor, and statutory payments.
- Assist with auditing and compliance documentation.
- Track due dates for payments and maintain an organized filing system for invoices and receipts.
- Ensure accurate tracking of LC schedules and prompt customer follow-up.
- Support the finance team in budgeting and cost-control activities.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance administration.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (experience with Zoho Books or Tally is a plus).
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication (fluent in English and Hindi; Arabic is a plus) and coordination skills.
- Strong sense of responsibility and adherence to deadlines.
