Roles & Responsibilities
An Accounts Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing and maintaining the financial operations of a company. This position is responsible for overseeing the billing processes, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and collaborating with various departments to ensure timely and efficient financial reporting. The Accounts Coordinator acts as a liaison between the finance department and other teams, providing essential support and guidance on matters related to budgets, invoices, and accounting software. Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail are required to successfully manage multiple accounts and financial transactions. Additionally, the Accounts Coordinator will contribute to enhancing the efficiency of financial processes and supporting the company's financial objectives.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily accounting activities to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and distribute invoices to clients promptly to ensure timely payments.
- Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Collaborate with finance teams to develop and implement effective billing strategies.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable to avoid any discrepancies or delays in payment.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Support the finance department in forecasting and budgeting for financial planning purposes.
- Coordinate with clients to resolve any billing issues or queries promptly.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing systems for financial transactions and records.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards at all times.
- Optimize accounting processes and identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of accounting software systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards is essential.
