Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Process supplier/vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper approvals, and compliance with company policies.
  • Match invoices with purchase orders, contracts, and delivery notes (3-way matching where applicable).
  • Prepare and execute timely vendor payments (cheques, bank transfers, electronic payments).
  • Monitor accounts payable ledger, reconcile vendor statements, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all payable transactions in the ERP/accounting system.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals and reconciliations.
  • Review supplier & advance-to-supplier aging and follow up on regular intervals.
  • Prepare fund flow statement on a daily basis.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with VAT, and other relevant financial regulations.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist in process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the payables function.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in accounts payable.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (Odoo, or equivalent) and MS Excel.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
