Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Shall have complete and strong knowledge of Accounts starting from GL to Balance sheet
  • Shall have experience to make Accounting Analysis to understand various aspects of business processes and their financial impacts.
  • Shall have strong knowledge of A/P/AR/ GL/ Provisions / accounting adjustments
  • Shall have experience of Monthly and yearly closing of accounts as per IFRS
  • Shall have experience in Costing, Loss Prevention, Cost reduction methods and controls
  • Shall have strong knowledge of Monthly and yearly financial forecasts
  • Shall have strong knowledge of making financial projections analysis as per standard benchmarks
  • Shall have strong knowledge of Cash flow management
  • Shall have deep knowledge of GL accounting
  • Shall have strong knowledge of Accounting Ratios
  • Shall have strong knowledge of ERP usage
  • Shall have good attitude and people management skills


Financial Management:

  • Prepare and manage the school’s annual budget in coordination with senior management.
  • Monitor income and expenditure to ensure adherence to the budget.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and forecasts.
  • Manage the school’s cash flow and bank transactions.

Accounting & Bookkeeping:

  • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions using accounting software.
  • Ensure timely and accurate entries of invoices, receipts, payments, and journal vouchers.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial records monthly.
  • Maintain ledgers, balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and trial balances.

Fee Management:

  • Supervise the fee collection process, ensuring timely billing and receipts.
  • Manage discounts, scholarships, and fee adjustments as per school policies.

Audit & Compliance:

  • Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and statutory filings.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant education board and government financial regulations.
  • Maintain records required for tax filing, VAT (if applicable), and other regulatory reporting.

Payroll & HR Coordination:

  • Oversee monthly payroll processing, including salary disbursement, deductions, and leave management.
  • Handle staff-related financial matters such as provident fund, gratuity, and reimbursements.

Procurement & Vendor Management:

  • Manage vendor payments and contracts.
  • Review and approve purchase orders, ensuring proper documentation and budget availability.
