Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce. • 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within import/export or trading companies. • Handle complete documentation for imports and exports (commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, etc.). • Proven experience in handling banking operations and correspondence. • Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics providers for smooth shipment clearance. • Ensure compliance with UAE Customs and Free Zone regulations. • Maintain accurate documentation for all cross-border transactions. • Prepare and file UAE VAT returns in compliance with Federal Tax Authority (FTA) requirements. • Verify import/export VAT treatments (reverse charge mechanism, zero-rated supplies, etc.). • Keep updates of UAE tax laws, customs tariffs, and free zone regulations. • Assist auditors and ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
