Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Officer with strong experience in credit insurance management to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring timely collections, maintaining accurate records, and administering credit insurance policies to safeguard the company’s receivables.
- Manage end-to-end accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliation.
- Monitor customer credit limits, payment terms, and overdue balances.
- Administer credit insurance policies: liaise with insurers, manage credit limits, and ensure compliance with policy requirements.
- Prepare and submit credit insurance declarations and monthly reports.
- Work closely with sales and operations teams to assess customer creditworthiness and mitigate risk.
- Process customer payments and maintain accurate records in the accounting system.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to receivables.
- Provide regular reports on accounts receivable aging and insured vs. uninsured exposure.
- Participate in process improvements to enhance efficiency and internal controls.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounts receivable, credit control, or financial administration.
- Proven experience in credit insurance management (e.g., Euler Hermes, Atradius, Coface, or similar).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Xero, or similar ERP systems).
- Strong Excel and reporting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
