Activity Attendant
To assist the Recreation Manager in maintaining the safety and security of pool and beach area, to create brand awareness and build loyalty, to maximize revenue through sales in Kempinski Membership to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of Guest and Members activities, updating, improving and implementing new activities in order to achieve maximum sales and guest satisfaction. Emerald Palace Kempinski Dubai
An impressive 100,000 square meters, the Emerald Palace Kempinski Dubai comprises of 39   luxuriously appointed rooms, of which 56 are exquisitely spacious suites. Surrounded by pristinely landscaped tropical gardens are eight highly appointed royal villas with stunning views of the Palm Lagoon. The
hotel s wide variety of international restaurants, the Parisian-inspired Cinq Mondes Spa, boutique mall and cinema provide ample dining and entertainment attractions. With its opening in 2018, the hotel s classical design will complement the Kempinski Residences and Hotel Apartments Palm Jumeirah, which has been developed in the same architectural style and is located on the adjacent plot. Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
• Overseeing  the outdoor pools areas effectively
• Clean and maintain of all beach and pool areas including furniture and showers to the required minimum standard as outlined in the duty schedules
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness in and around the designated areas i.e. litter free beach and pool area.
• Police the pool areas; ensure that no unauthorized people should enter the club premises.
• Assist the guests and members on poolside with the towels, sun beds and providing other amenities as required.
• Ensure all the face towels are cold, clean and arranged neatly for service
• Ensure all health and hygiene procedures are adhered to
• Ensure that members and guests adhere to the club rules and regulations
• Maintain a good working relationship with other departments
• Assist the other departments within the Hotel and undertake any other duties as and when required.
• Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the beach and pool area.
• Ensure all sun loungers, mattresses and tables are arranged properly every morning and evening
• Report any equipment and furniture requiring maintenance to the Recreation Supervisor
• Ensure all garbage bins are emptied regularly
• Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel.

Desired Candidate Profile

Desired Skills & Qualifications:
• Excellent communication skills at all levels
• Proactive approach with a high level of initiative
• Lifeguard qualifications would be desirable but are not essential
• Excellent spoken English
• Any additional languages would be a benefit
