The business is looking for a people-focused technical pre sales leader who provides technical direction and business guidance to the regional sales team. As a Solutions Architect, you will act as a trusted advisor to clients by offering a consultative approach to products, services, and solutions we design. Internally, the person will act as a conduit between Sales, OEM and Implementation team on both technical and strategic level. As a practice leader, you will be accountable for regional revenue goals of the practice by driving innovative technical programs and encouraging the sales to team to push the practice offerings to the clients.

The successful candidate must be a highly technical professional possessing in-depth knowledge of technologies like server, storage, backup, Azure /AWS &virtualization and should be able to demonstrate technical leadership and subject matter expertise on the same

GENERAL SUMMARY:

• Provides technical leadership and direction to customers and internal staff in the development of fully integrated technology solutions in the assigned market.
• Designing solutions which includes the design diagrams, solutions write up , BOQ building, implementation plans, assumptions exclusions etc
• Acts as technical expert and consultant to develop and propose solutions that meet the technology and business requirements of customers.
• Technical emphasis is on hardware capabilities, software requirements and systems integration.
• Makes technical and sales presentations to customer's technical staff and senior management. Conducts research, answers questions and removes objections that arise in a sales campaign.
• Serves as a trusted technology advisory to customers and serves as an internal resource on technical issues or specific business applications within an assigned market segment.
• Makes technical presentations to technical staff and top management.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Works with Sales Team to develop and implement specific account penetration strategies, produce account specific product and service and sales plans.
• Maintains knowledge of competitive solutions to effectively address and dispel customer objections to our proposed solutions, and train the sales team.
• Successfully builds relationships with the sales team, vendors and customers. Provide support to sales team and work towards achieving objectives of the practice.
• Leads technical sales calls
• Qualifies sales opportunities in the terms of customer technical requirements, competition, solution requirements etc.
• Building and managing vendor relationship and using stake holders internally to enhance the relationship
• Providing opportunity updates and funnel to Principals
• Plan and organize principal customer visits
• Plan and organize events with principals
• Identification of products/service partners as part of innovation
• Present to management on practice strategy and execution plan
• Monitor and update execution of strategy
• Clarity on pre sales and delivery approach for each solution area.- inhouse or outsource
• Training plan for related areas for delivery
• Technical pre-sales and delivery capability for identified areas.
• Plan for meeting Practice revenue targets by taking help from Sales.
• Conducting Product Presentations & Demos
• Organizing POCs using Internal and external resources with 100% ownership.
• Motivate sales team to push them to focus on practice solutions and services.
• Plan and organize marketing campaigns.
• Provide solutions/proposals in a timely manner and meeting customer expectations.
• Building and managing vendor relationship and using stake holders internally to enhance the relationship
• Providing opportunity updates and funnel to Principals
• Monitor practice projects and assist proactively in managing risks.
• Transition to Delivery team after order is booked.
• Assist Delivery Lead to identify and train resources

• Good interpersonal skills
• Good command over English (verbal and written)
• Ability to define solutions based on Customer requirements and business needs
• Ability to showcase value proposition in an effective manner
• Organizational skills
• Knowledge of concepts and technology
• Follow organizational processes and update CRM etc.
• Graduation or 3 year diploma
• Have at least 8+ years overall experience overall in IT industry and with minimum of 3 years pre sales experience, preferably with system integrators.
• Proven consultative skills
• Experience of working with a sales organization and a track record of successful meeting or exceeding assigned revenue goals
• Experience as a key technical resource leading the introduction of a new technology into a new market
• Customer centric attitude with great people skills.
• Strong presentation skills with great communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to talk to different teams
