Position summary:
The Sales Supervisor typically serves as member of second line management in tires dept. And has to be considered as a professional within the organization. As such, the Sales Supervisor provides combination of sales and technical competency level as per supplier competency benchmark. The organization will depend on this person's expertise and experience with complex technical activities leading strong professional teams.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
• Suggest, assist in identifying Tire sales strategy & distribution channels.
• Set up detailing sales action plan to achieve sales target required by the dept. on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Support, motivate staff member to achieve individual and team targets.
• Supervise daily work of sales staff.
• Liaise closely with finance dept. in coordinating daily financial issues related to credit sales, launching new debtor account, etc
• Work closely with other job functions in the company to coordinate for key fleet requirements.
• Monthly, quarterly and annual market updates report on new products and/or services, competitors, business opportunities, etc.
• Build a good relationship with the supplier providing full support to have an eye over competitors activities and hence having a strong brand image.
• Monitor sales for key accounts of fleet.
• Work closely with credit unit to facilitate payments and work on eliminating financial drawbacks.
• Recommend variable distribution channels to improve the product mix
• Participate in monthly order forecast with review to the user profile record ( customer data base verifying needs).
• Support management with technical & sales training techniques to improve competency level
Recommend items for demonstration & follow performance when/where needed.
Develop and coach effective questioning skills to understand a prospects need.
Minimum Qualification & Experience:
Qualification:
• Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or related field
Experience:
• 3Years+ in Tire business (1 years + Sudan market experience).
