AI/ML Engineer TASC Outsourcing

About the Role: We are seeking an AI/ML Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will design, build, and deploy large language model–based solutions using OpenAI APIs, embeddings, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques to power cutting-edge AI applications. Responsibilities: Design and implement LLM-based solutions leveraging OpenAI APIs Develop and integrate embedding pipelines for semantic search and similarity tasks Build, optimize, and maintain retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and cross-functional teams to define requirements Fine-tune and optimize models for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency Deploy, monitor, and maintain ML models and services in production environments Ensure code quality through best practices, testing, and documentation Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Minimum 2 years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering Strong expertise with large language models (LLMs) and natural language processing Hands-on experience with OpenAI APIs and associated tooling Proficiency in creating and utilizing embeddings for NLP applications Practical experience implementing retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) frameworks Advanced programming skills in Python and familiarity with ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar) Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree or higher in AI, Machine Learning, or related discipline Experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Milvus) and similarity search Familiarity with MLOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for ML Background in prompt engineering and custom model fine-tuning Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for ML deployment Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in agile, collaborative teams
